On a true leap of faith, John Christopher is living his dream. Growing up in Gainesville, Georgia, John knew at the age of nine that performing was his calling. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to perform with Jodi Benson, the Osmond family, Celine Dion, and the For All We Call Mizzou Singers. John attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO and graduated with a degree in Media Convergence, Broadcast Journalism. While in college, John was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, where his brothers helped him find his true voice and served as an inspiration for the song, “College Avenue”. Since graduating in 2007, music has been his main focus and John currently resides in Oklahoma City, OK.
Writing four of the songs on his debut album, John is learning the ends and outs of the industry and has emerged as a budding songwriter. From the classical song, “Avé Maria”, to the hip hop version of “I Will Always Love You”, the twang of “Highway From Heaven”, to the title track, “Leap of Faith”, this album is an apt description of John’s personality, beliefs, and the journey that brought him to “this open road”. He hopes this eclectic compilation of pop-classical music finds a place in everyone’s heart.
“Music is a powerful blessing and sets the tone in each of our lives. I believe this album has the potential to touch a wide array of people and I hope it inspires them to step out of the comfort zone, and to take their leap of faith.”
